New Features Help Service Providers Manage Customer Activation More Efficiently

RICHARDSON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 11/06/13 -- Hitachi Communication Technologies America, Inc. (Hitachi CTA) and Tendril® today announced that the companies have extended their partnership to enhance the capabilities of their product offerings. As a result, Telco, Cable, Wireless, and other service providers can quickly and easily add Tendril's solutions to their repertoire of smart home applications and services for energy monitoring, management and device control.

As part of this partnership, integration of new product features are now available to help service providers that are deploying home energy management applications and services to significantly improve the efficiency of activating customers.

One specific feature, enhanced subscriber provisioning, has been added to ease the provisioning process for service providers who are launching new home service offerings, including energy management. Enhanced subscriber provisioning allows for seamless integration between the service providers' Operational Systems, Hitachi SuperJ® Applications Ecosystem, and Tendril solutions.

In addition, consumers can now interact with multiple home services with secure authentication ensuring an improved, but secure navigational experience. Integration with the Hitachi SuperJ® Applications Ecosystem allows enhanced access through secure single sign-on.
